Part of the study of horticulture that I love is the naming of plants. Whether it be the Latin (best for categorization and identification) or the common names (ripe with stories, myth and even magic), I love discovering the names! It's like an introduction to a new friend every time.
I LOVE Lacewings! These beautiful creatures are SO GOOD for your garden! They eat aphids, caterpillars and are extremely beneficial. If you see them DON'T KILL THEM. Let them do their job and enjoy a pesticide free garden. 💚💚 p.s. they also look like tiny dragons so....🐲
